Instructions
The Game Cooler is the most insulated cooler available today and due to the amount of insulation used, will retain heat as well as cold.
You can cool the box using ice, freezer packs or ice replacement products.
If you are using ice then larger-sized cubed ice is recommended for cooling as it is more efficient than crushed ice.
Reduce the temperature within the cooler by adding ice three hours or so before loading it with the intended contents. As the ice will melt to initially cool the container, empty the water via the drainage ports to allow room for more ice. The longer the cooling down period the lower the temperature will be before use.
Load the cooler with as much ice as possible. Pre-cooling the intended contents will help in maximising ice retention.
Once the cooler is in use do not empty the cold water. More energy is required to cool than to maintain cold water.
If using a cooler to store or transport cold food, for food safety reasons do ensure that the temperature remains below 4ºC. The Game Cooler should remain under freezing point for over 7 10 days if you use it sensibly. i.e. keep it closed as much as possible, this will insure brilliant performance.
If using an ice replacement product/freezer pack please refer to manufacturers instructions.
Maintenance
Before first using The Game Cooler, clean the interior with any standard dish washing detergent and rinse thoroughly. For tough odours, wash out with a mixture of 1 part bleach to 50 parts water. Occasional cleaning of exterior is recommended using a non abrasive cloth and mild dish washing detergent.
Oil based grime can normally be removed using a lanolin hand cleaner or baby oil and non abrasive cloth. Do not use an alcohol based cleaner as it will dry before removing the stain.
Child Safety
To guard against suffocation, remove and store drain plugs inside cooler when not in use.
